No Selling of Data: MatMetriq explicitly guarantees that we do not, and will never, sell your personal data or information to third-party brokers or advertisers.

Our Business Model: Our business is built entirely on paid subscriptions, premium platform features, and tournament tools. We do not rely on ad monetization or tracking systems that monetize your personal search or profile data.

2. Information We Collect

Account Credentials: Basic details such as your name, email address, password, and contact details required to establish and secure your account profile.

Content You Create: Any sports accomplishments, tournament logs, officiating levels, photos, professional biographies, or posts you voluntarily upload or link to your athlete profile.

Purchase & Transaction Details: Financial transaction tokens and metadata (such as timestamps, fees paid, and billing details) related to event registrations, tickets, or premium features. Card/UPI payment routing is managed strictly by certified gateways (Razorpay, PhonePe, PayPal), and MatMetriq does not store raw credit card numbers or banking passwords.

Automated & Device Data: Technical logs including your IP address, browser/device specifications, operating system version, and system event data. We also request explicit device permissions for features like camera or microphone access when prompted (e.g. uploading your profile picture or certificate photo).

3. Sharing and Privacy Controls

User Sharing Controls: You maintain absolute control over who views your profiles, post uploads, and tournament statistics. Through your Account Settings dashboard, you can toggle your profile privacy—allowing it to be fully public, kept completely private, or shared only with designated sports teams and organizers.

Legal & Safety Exceptions: We reserve the right to share or disclose personal information only to comply with binding legal mandates, subpoena requests, court orders, to enforce our safety guidelines, or to act during urgent medical emergencies occurring during registered events.

4. Age Restrictions & Protection of Minors

Consent Requirements: MatMetriq requires explicit consent from users who are 13 years of age or older to register and utilize the platform independently.

Under-13 Consent Validation: To register or capture results for any child under the age of 13, explicit consent and registration by a verified parent or legal guardian is mandatory. We do not intentionally compile or request data from children under 13 without direct parental control and authorization.

5. Data Security & Retention

Encryption & Access Controls: We use industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption for all platform traffic and data storage. Access to server logs and database objects is restricted strictly to authorized engineering staff.

Historical Archival Rights: While you can request profile deletion (which wipes your name, email, credentials, and uploaded posts), historical tournament records, completed bracket statistics, and match outcomes are preserved permanently as public record to maintain sports database integrity.
